Dr. Sabrina Abu Hassan Asaari is a medical lecturer in the Department of Ophthalmology at Universiti Malaya. She obtained her MBChB from University of Bristol before completing her Master of Ophthalmology at Universiti Malaya, and also holds the FRCOphth qualification from the Royal College of Ophthalmologists UK. She currently serves as a coordinator for undergraduate ophthalmology teaching in the Universiti Malaya Medical Programme (UMMP) and is an Associate Editor for the Malaysian Journal of Ophthalmology. Dr. Sabrina is also a recipient of the Early Careers Research Grant 2025–2027. Her academic interests include glaucoma, ocular trauma, and mixed methods research in ophthalmology and medical education.
