Dr. Sylves Patrick is a Senior Medical Lecturer and Ophthalmologist at Universiti Malaysia Sabah. He obtained his Doctor of Medicine from Universiti Malaysia Sabah in 2010 and Master of Medicine in Ophthalmology from Universiti Sains Malaysia in 2020. He has completed subspecialty training in Oculoplastic Surgery and was awarded the Certificate of Completion of Fellowship Training by the Ministry of Health Malaysia. He also completed an APSOPRS approved International Oculoplastic Fellowship at Asan Medical Center, Seoul, South Korea, and a Fellowship in Oculoplastic, Orbital and Lacrimal Surgery at Aichi Medical University Hospital, Japan. Besides his clinical and surgical work, Dr. Sylves is active in academic publishing, peer review, cataract outreach programs, and community eye screening initiatives in Sabah.
