Obtained the Masters in Surgery ( Ophthalmology) in 2005 from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. Underwent local training in Uveitis and Medical Retina and then a uveitis fellowship in Moorfields Eye Hospital London in 2010-2011. Obtained CCFT KKM in 2011. Upon completion, served at Hospital Selayang and Hospital Shah Alam, main national tertiary referral centres for medical retina and uveitis. Currently working in Faculty of Medicine, Universiti Teknologi MARA

 

Have been involved in the management of a variety of medical retina and uveitis patients receiving referrals and providing outreach services all over Malaysia in the past. Have given lectures locally and internationally to ophthalmologists on uveitis and medical retina-related topics. Have publications, presented posters and oral presentations in local and international conferences. A working group member of the CPG for Diabetic retinopathy screening and CPG for Multiple Sclerosis and currently for CPG in Management of Post-operative Endophthalmitis. Was involved with the Everest 2 PCV trial and KITE DME trial, RAVEN and TALON trials as a Co-Investigator. PI in Quasar RVO trial and current SeeClear Diabetic retinopathy trial for UiTM site. A founder member of the Malaysian Ocular Inflammatory Interest Group under MSO in 2015. A faculty member of the Indochina Ocular Inflammation Study Group.
