Dr Hanida Hanafi graduated as medical doctor at USM and trained through a Master of Surgery (Ophthalmology) at UKM. She is a dedicated and experienced consultant oculoplastic surgeon with over 20 years of medical practice and 15 years as a specialist. Expert in oculoplastic and reconstructive surgery, with fellowship training from Hospital Serdang, Malaysia, and The Rotterdam Eye Hospital, The Netherlands. Renowned for pioneering oculoplastic services in Sabah, Borneo, with a decade of service managing high-volume, complex eyelid and orbital cases in both paediatric and adult populations. Currently serving as a consultant ophthalmologist and oculoplastic surgeon at Hospital Sultan Idris Shah (HSIS), Serdang, Gleneagles Kuala Lumpur and Prince Court Medical Centre. Actively involved in training the postgraduate students and Oculoplastic fellows.
