Dr. Azuwan Musa is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Ophthalmology at the Kulliyyah (Faculty) of Medicine, International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM). He is a vision rehabilitation optometrist and a registered counsellor. He obtained his PhD in Clinical Psychology from Durham University, United Kingdom, where his research focused on the impact of visuomotor rehabilitation on individuals with partial visual field loss. He received training as a Community Eye Health Optometrist at LV Prasad Eye Institute, Hyderabad, where he also earned his first Master’s degree. After completing a second Master’s degree in Counselling, he became actively involved in providing counselling sessions for individuals with visual impairments, alongside his ongoing clinical works in both general and neuro-ophthalmology rehabilitation.
